Spending a few days in Berlin and walked on a nice path on the hotel
property next to a creek. Saw a pair of nesting red headed woodpeckers!
They took turns going in and out of the hole in the top branch of a dead
tree. Sometimes they would land together. Also saw the Flicker land on a
different branch of the same dead tree. Down the creek, saw a half dozen
Cedar Waxwings flew in and out of the tree branches to catch insects.
