Birds of interest at our yard today were Yellow-throated Vireo, Scarlet Tanager, Northern Waterthrush, Bay-breasted Warbler and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks. On another note, I chased down what I thought sounded like a Wilson's Warbler only to see a fleeting glimpse of something that looked like a Red-eyed Vireo. I'm thinking it must have been a Tennessee Warbler. Does the Tennessee sing an abbreviated staccato type of song on one pitch that could be confused with a Wilson's? It continued this same song repeatedly for about an hour.
