My father and I visisted Deer Haven Preserve (Delaware Cty Preservation Park) this morning before the rain and were able to watch a lark sparrow for several minutes, getting great looks at the lone spot on its breast as it fed on the ground near the nature center frog pond.  Also was able to see the white outer tail feathers as it flew to a nearby treeline and began singing.

Also saw 51 other species, including:
chestnut-sided warbler
magnolia
parula
yellow
cmn yellowthroat
nashville
redstart
balt oriole
grt-crested flycatcher
acadian
pee-wee
ovenbird
