Highlights from Wednesday morning and early afternoon:

Hampton Hills Metro Park, Top-o-the-World area - alder flycatcher, two blue-winged warblers, Canada warbler

CVNP Ira Rd parking lot to the beaver pond - blue-winged warbler, yellow warbler building a nest, prothonotary warbler checking out a hole

CVNP ledges (walked the loop) - red-eyed, warbling, and blue-headed vireos; black-throated green (5), magnolia, yellow-throated, hooded, cerulean, black and white warblers; redstarts, ovenbird

CVNP Horseshoe Pond (about the first mile of the trail, counterclockwise) - blue-winged warblers (3), chestnut sided warblers (2), hooded warblers (4) (three of them were having a vocal duel), an uncountable number of house wrens, and a very agitated veery
