Following Ginny Fantetti's report on Cincy Birds, I left for work 30 minutes early on Tues in order to chase the 12 Willets seen at the south swimming beach of East Fork State Park Lake (Clermont County) Monday afternoon. No willets, but several other good birds including CATTLE EGRET and GREAT EGRET (1 each), also a FORESTER'S TERN very actively fishing in the shallow water, a Blue-winged Teal right along the shoreline with 2 Spotted Sandpipers. Many Tree Swallows, 2 Yellow-rumped Warblers, 2 Great Blue Herons, half a dozen Canada Geese, and a couple of bored Ring-billed Gulls rounded out my brief beach walk; I had 1 Wild Turkey and 3 Turkey Vultures on the park road to the lake.
