I spent the morning at Conneaut harbor.  Shorebirds were in small numbers but good variety.  Bald eagles are back in force.  The day's highlights: 10 bald eagles (2 adults), black-bellied plover, 12 semipalmated plovers, lesser yellowlegs, spotted sandpipers, 7 ruddy turnstones, semipalmated sandpipers, least sandpipers, white-rumped sandpiper, dunlins, 7 short-billed dowitchers, a first-cycle lesser black-backed gull, 6 great black-backed gulls, 2 Caspian terns, willow flycatcher, and 50 bank swallows.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
