Hi all-sorry for the post without a message.  The purple gallinule was still present at 4:45 today.  I observered it for over 1/2 hour--I left after I passed on the location to the next set of birders.  WOW.  This after a great day Saturday at Magee MArsh.  I got banded by Kim Kaufmann.
