Hey, check out my Facebook album "Magee 2010" the last photos - a Great Blue Heron attempting to swallow a small muskrat!!


We watched for about 30". He would get it ALMOST then spit it out -- to marinate it and "think" about what/how to get it arranged to go down! Then, finally, he came to the conclusion --- this thing is MUCH BIGGER than I first thought and maybe it won't be as tasty as I first thought!!!!!


So, I'll just let it go and try for a fish -- or ----

 

Very entertaining to watch his predicament --- took some of the disappointment at NOT finding the Connecticutt --

 

A very GOOD day anyway -- Don't you just love it that WE have Magee Marsh in OHIO???
