Today may be a good day to be along the lakeshore watching for whimbrels.  This morning around 6:00 I had a flock of 30-40 pass by my house in North Perry .  I saw a distant flock about half hour later when I didn't have binoculars with me that may have also been whimbrels.  This flock looked to be about 15-20 birds.
