Larry Gara and I went out to the Caesar Creek beach again this morning and
quickly found the Franklin's Gull. I managed to get some adequate pictures
of it. They can be found at the following address:

Details are provided in captions.
The beach did not yield anything else of note. The bird was still present
when we left at 1000. It was being very faithful to the flock of ~200
ring-bills on the beach.
We tried Mound Road, with no advance over the Solitary Sandpiper previously
reported by Allan Clabon. The water needs to drop a little more in order to
expose enough mud to bring in large numbers of shorebirds. We had the two
Great Egrets which have been hanging around lately and 19 Killdeer, a paltry
number for this location.
Cheers,
Bob
