Not quite those numbers, but.....
Ohio State University, in the interest of attracting migrating nighthawks, turned the lights on at Ohio Stadium last night. About 105,000 birders showed up, and they weren't disappointed. At about 8:30 a dozen or so nighthawks swooped in under the lights. I can't get a better number because the birds would disappear into the dark and then dip back into the lights. They stayed about 20 minutes or so, and then left.

P.S. Since the lights were on anyway, they decided to hold an athletic contest on the field, as well. Kudos to Ohio State for getting the most out of the lights!
