This AM the Cowan Lake spillway remained completely dry hence no birds. But the swimming beach was another matter. The small mud flat at the very end of the beach had:
2 Pectoral Sandpipers
1 Greater Yellowlegs
9 Killdeer
12 Ring-billed Gulls
1 Green Heron - further down the beach in low water. A surprise since we see very few
                            Green Heron these days
