Hi folks,

Here is a list of birds seen down at the boardwalk this morning. The
corner of the "B" loop at the boardwalk, in the vicinity of 20-22B,
seems to be a pretty good place to look in the falltime. Also, I have
noticed that the couple ovenbirds that I have seen in the fall behave
more like typical warblers; that is, they are foraging in trees (though
at or below eye level, never high) and opposed to walking on the forest
floor as they are want to do in the springtime. Has anyone else noticed
this, or is it just chance that these few birds were in trees instead of
walking on the ground?

N. parula
Chestnut-sided
Magnolia
Cape May
Black-throated blue
Black-throated green
Bay-breasted
Blackpoll (many)
Black-and-white
Am. redstart

N. waterthrush

Warbling vireo
Red-eyed vireo
Philadelphia vireo
Blue-headed vireo
Swainson's thrush
