The Black-headed Gull has been putting on quite a show at Lorain for about
an hour. It was first spotted way out to the right of the lighthouse. Then
it moved in closer. We can watch it cycle through from the heated comfort of
the car! We are at the furthest point out opposite the lighthouse. Also a
leucistic (almost all white) Bonaparte's is cycling through. There are at
least 6,000 gulls flying slowly against strong west winds.
