Greater White-fronted Goose: One bird in a flock of Canada Geese at Mingo
Park in Delaware on 16 Dec (Sean Williams and Bill Heck).
 
Snow Goose: One light-phase bird flew over Snipe Marsh in Delaware on 16 Dec
(Sean Williams). A blue-phase bird was at Blacklick Woods on 17 Dec (Rob
Thorn).
 
Cackling Goose: One bird still present in Delaware, on the Olentangy River
on 16 Dec (Sean Williams).
 
Long-tailed Duck: One bird at Harveysburg Rd at Caesar Creek State Park on
14 Dec (Rick Asamoto). Another one was at Jisco Lake in Jackson County on 18
Dec (Tom Bain).
 
White-winged Scoter: A female reported at the North Pool boat ramp at Caesar
Creek State Park on 14 Dec (Rick Asamoto).
 
Red-necked Grebe: The bird found by Dave Slager remained at Hoover Reservoir
in Franklin County on 13 Dec (Bill Heck).
 
American Bittern: A bird was flushed by Rob Thorn along a creek at Big Run
Park on 17 Dec.
 
Thayerıs Gull: A first cycle bird reported at East 55th St. Marina on 14 Dec
(Jen Brumfield).
 
SLATY-BACKED GULL: A probable Slaty-backed Gull was reported by Jen
Brumfield on 14 Dec at the East 55th Marina in Cleveland. A description from
Jen: ³The bird was very close to Herring Gull in size, with a very bulky
build - pot-bellied and squat. Heavy-billed. The mantle shade was between
Lesser Black-backed and Great Black-backed, closer to Lesser Black-backed.
Literally, slaty. The head was heavily streaked and darkest around the eye,
with streaking running down fairly heavily onto the nape and  neck. The
legs/feet were rich dark pink. There was a broad strip of white on the
tertials.² Unfortunately, the bird vanished and could not be photographed.
 
Eastern Phoebe: One was sighted in Joe Faulknerıs yard on 14 Dec. Another
was seen at Blue Limestone Park in Delaware on 16 Dec (Sean Williams).
 
Northern Shrike: One juvenile was at Delaware Wildlife Area in a field north
of pond 1B on 17 Dec (Sean Williams). One was at Highland Park Cemetery ³in
a wooded ravine between the putting green and the National Guard armory on
Green, just south of Harvard² on 19 Dec (Inga Schmidt).
