Birders,

In my defense, when I got the phone call about where the Rufous Hummingbird I banded in Ashland County, Ohio in October 2009 had been recaptured, I had been outside in 20-degree temps for 10 hours on a Christmas Bird Count, and didn't write down the information.

This adult female was recaptured in Pensacola, Florida (not Tallahassee), which is about 750 miles SSW of where she was banded, but of course she didn't fly directly there, she probably summered in the Pacific Northwest somewhere.

Sorry for the mis-information.
