Hello all,

Amid the -10 degree temperatures this morning we were rewarded with 2 common
redpolls at our feeders. They stayed for about an hour and a half and
afforded us with some great looks.

Earlier this afternoon, on our way back from Ashland, my husband and I saw 3
bald eagles - one was perched on a branch hanging over the Lake Fork of the
Mohican River visible from State Route 179 while the other 2 were flying
about a mile or so down river.

This makes bird #38 and #39 respectively for the Century List. Hoping to add
#40 tomorrow evening with a visit to Funk to see if any of the short-eared
owls will make an appearance.

Happy birding,

Michele Skolmutch
