Nice variety of waterfowl at Mosquito Lake causeway about 1:30pm today,  11 Long-tailed Ducks (5 males) were seen with Red-breasted Mergansers, 2 Common Mergansers, Canvasback, Redheads, Wigeons, Coots and lots of Horned Grebes many in winter plumage.
Goldeneyes and Buffleheads also.  There is still alot of ice on the lake but the opened water is expanding.
