Just a quick note.  There has been a good movement of cormorants this
morning.  Amongst them was one that was noticeably smaller.  The bird was
probably 2/3 the size of the double crested and appeared a bit thinner.  It
also had quicker wingbeats.  The bird may have had a longer tail.  It was
hard to be sure as it was flying by itself.   There was a group of five
cormorants that followed it, but I was looking more at size and wingbeat
first and then was trying to get an idea of tail and head differences when
it went out of sight.  The bird was flying west.
