Strolled the waterfront areas between the Dike 14 fence line and the marina
at 55th Street yesterday,  11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Double-crested Cormorant
Great Blue Heron
Red-tailed Hawk
Turkey Vulture
Canada Goose
Mallard
GREATER SCAUP.  Mated pair dawdling in the Marina near 55th Street.  Awake
but not feeding.  An unexpected ID challenge on a Memorial Day Weekend.

Herring Gull
Northern Rough-winged Swallow
Barn Swallow
Chimney Swift.  Drinking on the wing near Dike 14 fence line.
Cedar Waxwing.  Moving in tight flocks of 10-50.
American Robin.  Many juveniles.
Eastern Kingbird
Willow Flycatcher (20+).  Only empid heard.
Silent Empids (12).  Hey, I got the Scaup.
Gray Catbird
Red-eyed Vireo
Warbling Vireo
American Redstart
Yellow Warbler
Blackpoll Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Baltimore Oriole
Orchard Oriole
Common Grackle.  One juvenile.
Red-winged Blackbird
Brown-headed Cowbird
Chipping Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Savannah Sparrow.  5-6 foraging in lawn near Dike 14 fence line and flushing
to small trees.

Starlings, House Sparrows
