Yesterday evening I confirmed the presence of an adult sandhill crane in Fearing Twp, Washington County, OH. The bird has been present for +\-3 days in corn and barley fields near the Berg Church (intersection of Fearing Twp roads 332 and 329.)

Members of the Whipple Bird Club saw the bird today (Friday 6/17) just after dawn. It forages in the fields to the SW of the church.

I posted an account and photos on my blog:

Good birding!
