It should be publicly noted that, while Craig Holt found, brilliantly, the state-first Black-tailed Gull, there were several key players in refinding the bird throughout the day, when some souls were starting to overwhelmingly lose hope. Larry Richardson refound the gull on the other side of the harbor/plant/river (after a two hour disappearance), John Pogacnik for recommending the viewing site off of Hulbert Road, and Dave Slager, who pulled the bird out of the sky way out over the gravel piles, allowing us to keep track of it into the evening hours. flawless teamwork.
