Birders,

     After running all over the county looking for a new year bird, got
back in our own driveway, and spotted a FIELD SPARROW, possibly two in a
flock of Tree sparrows and others.  Such is birding.  He joins the Chipping
sparrows we see nearly every day, attesting to the mild winter we are
having this year.
