I went to Sims Park today from 10:10am to 10:35am.  I had gone on Sat but it was a little choppy and had trouble with the counting.  Today the lake was more calm near shore, 42 deg, 21 winds SSE or S.  Found the scoters in three groups (10-4-2)

Surf Scoters 14
Black Scoters 2 (separate from Surf)
Common Goldeneye ~ 170
Small numbers of Bonaparte's Gulls, Ring-billed Gulls, few Herring Gulls, yesterday there were four Bufflehead, couldn't find today.

Went to Bluestone Business Park off of E. 260th St. in Euclid form 9:15 to 9:55am - was raining here, flock approx 25 American Tree Sparrows flying around, 1 Red-tailed Hawk, 11 Mallards in wet areas and 1 Wilson's Snipe I flushed.  Walking around here is pretty messy.

I was at Villa Angela and Wildwood on 12/31 for a long time so I wasn't planning to go back there very long today.  It was not really birdy yesterday except I did see one Winter Wren yesterday and heard two others.  So I only went to Wildwood Marina in the morning and left around 10:55am.  Came back around 1pm to walk along creek.  The Carolina Wren was singing on the island and saw two White-breasted Nuthatches, have been 4 & 5 American Black Ducks along creek.  Ran into Mark Anderson so we walked into Villa Angela til 2pm.  A Great Black-backed Gull has been hanging out in the marina since last Thurs.  Was in marina yesterday and the Villa Angela beach yesterday, and the VA beach today We found the Northern Mockingbird west of the grassy knoll area and 3 Horned Grebe on the lake.  I left Mark around 2pm and stayed in Wildwood on my way back to the parking lot near Lakeshore.  I returned to the area on the south of the Wildwood woods near
the asphalt path that I found the Catbird on 12/26/11.  Many of the birds were hidden in here today, found two Dark-eyed Junco, 8 House Finches, Song Sparrow, 5 Mourning Doves, 2 Robins,  2 Downy Woodpeckers, refound GRAY CATBIRD (same area as before) and the HERMIT THRUSH.  (could not get picture of thrush, picture of catbird only shows gray as it was in low bush.  Maybe it will be easier to find in the snow tomorrow if the roads are passable.
