A quick, but cold, hour at this Nature Preserve east of Columbus this morning found more temperate migrants including
4 pair of Blue-winged Teal at the neighboring wetlands
2 sapsuckers
4 Ruby-cr.Kinglets
5 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers
2 Hermit Thrushes
6-8 Yellow-rumped warblers
6-8 White-throated Sparrows
1 singing Purple Finch
The Great Horned Owl that has been haunting the southern end of the woods was still there as well, being tormented by 2 crows.
