Acting upon Bill Whan's request for some searching at Hoover Reservoir, Dan
Sanders and I spent a couple of hours this morning looking for small
cormorants. We started at the sand bar just to the north of the County Line
Bridge. We stopped several places on north, with the last being the
boardwalk. We saw about 100 cormorants, but, could not make out any smaller
ones. That does NOT mean that a smaller one isn't flying around the
reservoir some place!

Good luck to any one who continues the search.
