I stopped on Route 269 just north of Rte 2 at the Bay View exit this evening and parked on the east side of the road.  There were three American Avocets very far east in the water which I believe is also considered the Medusa Marsh area.  There were mudflats at the furthest eastern end and various others edges.  They were cleaning/bathing most of the time.  There were over 80 other birds that looked like Yellowlegs and possibly about 20 Dowitchers.  It is above my skill level to ID shorebirds at 300 yds so couldn't tell what else was there.
