Mary Birdsong of nearby Erie, Pennsylvania posted to the Birding Ohio Facebook page requesting that her sighting of nine American Avocets at Conneaut this evening (Monday, present at 8:30 pm) be posted to the listserv. Shorebird migration is well underway and things (not just the weather)are cooking up.
