Haven't had a chance to get down to the boardwalk yet today, but here is what was spotted yesterday on our monthly bird count:

Pied-billed Grebe, DC Cormorant, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, American Bittern, Trumpeter Swan, Canada Goose, Mallard, Am. Black Duck, Gadwall, BW Teal, N. Shoveler, Wood Duck, Lesser Scaup, Bufflehead, Ruddy Duck, Turkey Vulture, Coopers Hawk, Bald Eagle, N. Harrier, Sandhill Crane, Am. Coot, Killdeer, Herring Gull, over 600 Bonaparte's Gulls, Herring Gull, Caspian Tern, Mourning Dove, Belted Kingfisher, N. Flicker, RB Woodpecker, YB Sapsucker, Downy Woodpecker, E. Phoebe, Tree Swallow, Barn Swallow, N. Rough-winged Swallow, Purple Martin, Blue Jay, Am. Crow, BC Chickadee, Brown Creeper, House Wren, Carolina Wren, Brown Thrasher, Am Robin, Hermit Thrush, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, GC Kinglet, RC Kinglet, E. Starling, Black and White Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Pine Warbler, Ovenbird, Red-winged Blackbird, Rusty Blackbird, Brown-headed Cowbird, N. Cardinal, E. Towhee, Dark -eyed Junco, Am Tree Sparrow, White-throated Sparrow, Fox Sparrow, Swamp Sparrow, Song Sparrow, House Finch, Am Goldfinch, House Sparrow.
