While watching the Puritas wetlands last evenings 
from the W viewpoint I watched an American 
Bittern fly in from the S. I believe it landed in the 
smaller pond right next to the McDonalds on 
Puritas, although it could be just across the 
industrial parkway in the wetlands proper, as I 
could not relocate this master of camouflage.
