I think someone should have gotten a picture and then created a Most-wanted
webpage!! Selfish people. Unfortunately it happens everywhere.

Subject: Re: [Ohio-birds] Ruff flushed by over eagerness/trespassing

I have plans to go there Saturday to see this bird. If it's not there I want
the name of this moron so we can revoke his bird watching card. This is the
kind of thing that affects all birders everywhere when someone won't let
anybody on their property to see a rare bird.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Ruff flushed by over eagerness/trespassing

The Ruff was flushed today by someone who did not stay on the dike and
approached to get closer looks by trespassing and walking out onto private
pond property. The bird has not returned since. last sighting at 11:25ish.

Report from an observer that was there at the time: "the Ruff flew off at
1125 am; not relocated by 1230 today.
Wonder who that was that had to go down into the mudflats and not stay on
dike?"
