At lunchtime today, I was delighted to see and hear my FOS Chimney Swifts
flying over uptown Athens. It was wonderful to hear their lovely chatter again.

Also, heard my FOS Wood Thrush singing at a far corner of our property in
rural Athens County before work this morning.

As for migrants, I saw a single Ruby-crowned Kinglet this weekend flitting
around in some thickets along our road.

Last (but certainly not least), a pair of White-breasted Nuthatches shared
the location of their nest cavity with me this weekend, high up in a
sycamore tree, literally just a few trees down from the pileated nest I
observed last week.

In the words of one of my birding heroes: "Birds Rule!"

Good birding to all,

Heather Aubke
Albany/Athens County
