Greetings Birders!

There were 41 Willets at Walbridge Park in Toledo this afternoon. I received
a call from Sherry Plessner around 11:30 a.m. while I was on the boardwalk
at Magee. Sherry received a call from Dan Barda who originally found the
birds this morning. I made it over there around 2:00 p.m. to see them still
resting on the tip of the island that is seen from the observation platform
just west of the park. The park is across the street from the south entrance
of the Toledo Zoo on Broadway.

Irine Krise texted me that she still had them at 3:15 pm.

I posted a photo on Toledo's Rarebird.org.

Justin Bosler reported earlier on Facebook that he had a "Big flock of 48
Western Willets bathing and resting at the Horseshoe Unit of Winous Pt.
Marsh Conservancy (Ottawa Co.)"

Good Birding!
