The Ruff was flushed today by someone who did not stay on the dike and approached to get closer looks by trespassing and walking out onto private pond property. The bird has not returned since. last sighting at 11:25ish.

Report from an observer that was there at the time: "the Ruff flew off at 1125 am; not relocated by 1230 today.
Wonder who that was that had to go down into the mudflats and not stay on dike?"
