This morning there were three terns on the beach at Deer Creek State Park in
Pickaway County which I am pretty sure were Royal Terns. There were two
adults and one juvenile, probably a family.

I have photos which I will send to anyone upon request, but I have been
unable to upload them to a site for viewing.

One of the adults had a white forehead, the other had an all black cap. Both
adults had orange bills, not as red as most Caspians. The bills did not have
black or dark tips, in fact the tips were a little paler than the rest of
the bills. The juvenile's bill was a little paler than the adults.
