Shane Egleston just called me to let me know the Red-necked Phalarope was
still present (and that he got some good photos) along the Great Miami
River immediately south of the Linden St bridge. Chris Zacharias said it
was just north of the bridge when he was there because a fisherman was
where we had seen it earlier. So if you go for it try both sides of the
bridge.

The stretch of the Great Miami River along Carillon Park in Dayton has some
excellent habitat as the river keeps dropping with no rain lately.

The Cincinnati Zoo Eco Wetland just north of Mason in Warren County had
excellent habitat but it is hard to see it because of trees.

Rick and I ended up with 9 shorebird species:
Killdeer
Semipalmated Plover
Red-necked Phalarope
Spotted Sandpiper
Least Sandpiper
Pectoral Sandpiper
Semipalmated Sandpiper
Lesser Yellowlegs
Solitary Sandpiper
