I was able to get some pics of the Surf Scoter over at the Fish Hatchery.
The only thing that I found odd about him, is that all the pictures I see
the males have a white patch on the face.  This one did not....wondering if
it was some sort of hybrid.

I also was able to get some pics of Longspurs in breeding plumage over on
Washburn Rd near Killdeer Plains Pond 27
