This week at our backyard feeding station in rural Washington Township the Red-Headed Woodpeckers have brought their single fledgling for suet.  He hasn't tried on his own but waits patiently at the tree to be fed.

Last week the Pileated Woodpeckers brought two young in.  The young have tried to land on the suet feeders but haven't go the hang of it yet.

The Red-Bellied and Downy Woodpeckers showed up weeks ago with their young.  These young had no trouble with the suet.

We continue to have a pair of Summer Tanagers visit the suet.  The female comes less often than the male.
