It was pretty good this morning with over 100 species seen. Of note were marsh wren, hooded warbler, mourning warbler, and two chats. There were a lot of birds migrating overhead. Of note were 31 eastern kingbirds and 4300 blue jays.
There was also a nice movement of hawks and vultures. Birds counted were turkey vulture 518, northern harrier 1, osprey 1, sharp-shinned 22, Cooper's hawk 1, red-shouldrred 1, broad-winged 14, red-tailed 9, and peregrine falcon 1. Most of the buteos were immatures. There were a couple loons on the lake and a flyby great egret.
Everything was seen from the Bluffs Trail west of Lane Road.
