Lake Hope State Park & Zaleski State Forest are located 15 miles from
Nelsonville (Rte 33) off of Rte3 278. I spent 2 mornings at these with a
California Birder-Calvin Walters. We viewed many Warblers & Songbirds &
many young. Below is some of our observations. For more detail about
Zaleski State Forest, go to eBird Hotspots

         Observations

We also visited Clear Creek Metro Park

                       Hemlock Trail
                           Veery-singing
                           Black-throated Green-singing
                           Yellow-throated Vireo-singing
                           Blue-headed Vireo-2 together foraging &
interacting
Ovenbird-Suddenly an Adult became very excited.
The orange feathers on its head stood up! Then on the ground I see a young
going left. The one Adult is perched about 2 feet off the ground-very
excited. The other
adult was on the ground, with its wings
hanging down. It kept going in the opposite direction the young went. Once
we followed the Adult a short distance away from the young it flew away
