Birding was excellent at Conneaut harbor this morning.  I was there from 7:50 AM until about noon.  Highlights were: osprey, bald eagles, semipalmated plovers, the continuing piping plover, 2 Am. avocets, willet, ruddy turnstone, sanderling, least sandpipers, pectoral sandpiper, semipalmated sandpipers, short-billed dowitchers, 30 Bonaparte's gulls, great black-backed gull, Caspian tern, common terns, Forster's tern, belted kingfisher, and a merlin.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
