   Blendon Woods Metro Park is located in northeast corner of Columbus off
of I 270 & Rte 161. Take the Little Turtle Way exit. Below is a list of
some of the Birds this week

       Thoreau Lake
          A Black Ducks
          Mallards
          N Shovelers
          Hooded Mergansers
          Gadwall
          Rudy Ducks
          Great Blue Heron
          Green-winged Teal
          Red-tailed Hawk
          Yellow-rumped Warbler

     Lake Trail
          Woodpeckers
              Pileated
              Hairy
              N Flicker
              Red-bellied
          Carolina Wren
          E Bluebird
          Barred Owl



    Brookside Trail
           Pileated Woodpeckers
           Brown Creeper-Near bridge

   Sugarbush Trail
           E Phoebe
           White-crowned Sparrow


    Nature Center Bird Viewing area
          Cooper's Hawk
          Sparrows
             A Tree
             White-throated
             Dark-eyed Junco

                MISC: a pair of Coyotes visited our Bird feeding area!!


   Wild Turkeys-everywhere-They can be seen in groups of 30 to 50
         Bird Feeders
            Nature Center
            East Blind- Thoreau Lake
            Picnic area

            Blendon Woods Metro Park
