H everyone,

Sorry this post is a little late—

Yesterday (Thursday), we were driving past Lower Lake in the Shaker Lakes, when  we though we spotted a bright flish of white. We pulled into the parking ara and from there very quickly had:

Common Loon—4
Pied-billed Grebe—4
Bufflehead—1 pair

Nic quick stop.

And this morning there’s snow on the ground again! Oh well…

P.S. For those who don’t know, the Shaker Lakes area lies between Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights. The parking area I mentioned is just east of Coventry Road, entered from North Park…
