Hey all,

The Western Meadowlark is still present this morning on Moorefield Road at Baldwin Lane, near Buck Creek State Park in Clark County as of 7:20am when I left. It was singing incessantly-as previously reported-and should be easy to hear. This morning, the bird was mostly perched on the short fence posts within the fenced pasture.

I was hoping to find a previously reported Dickcissel and Henslow's Sparrow while there, but had no success. I did see both a male and female Blue Grosbeak-as previously reported also-and a Grasshopper Sparrow.

Once again, there is a dirt pull-off at the intersection of Moorefield Road and Baldwin Lane and care should be exercised when viewing along Moorefield Road, as vehicles can pass at a higher rate of speed.

Also, the road is closed on Moorefield Road due to bridge reconstruction (right past Old Mechanicsburg Road) if accessing from Route 4, so it's best to access Baldwin Lane where it intersects Route 4.
