Am.White Pelican was found this morning on north side of the bridge (Columbus str.) in Galena, where the boardwalk is on south side. The bird looks pretty healthy, was preening and stretching wings. Probably, it is a young bird, and needs to rest undisturbed to gain the strengths back.
