I checked out Sharon Woods MetroPark (in Westerville, a NE Columbus suburb)during the snows this afternoon, and found Shrock lake still open (but with few waterfowl), but the nearby feeders along the Thomas Trail were full of birds. Included among the birds around these 2 feeders were

2 Red-headed Woodpeckers
2 Red-bellied Woodpeckers
5 Downy Woodpeckers
1 Hairy Woodpecker
2 Yellow-rumped Warblers
20+ White-throated Sparrows
8 Juncos
2 Song Sparrows
1 Tree Sparrow
2 Fox Sparrows
4 E.Towhees
22 N.Cardinals

The snows and cold are definitely concentrating birds around feeders now. Keep checking your home feeders and any nearby park feeders over the next few days, as this is a great time for unusual winter strays.
