Greetings... There was one Henslow's Sparrow and two Bobolinks at the
Voice of America Park last evening in West Chester, Butler County.
Also twenty-plus Eastern Meadowlarks and five Savannah Sparrows. Each
year we realize this could possibly be the end, but the grassland
birds seem to be finding their way back this spring to this odd bit of
grass surrounded by development. It's a hopeful start. Perhaps the new
IKEA will draw more birders. I imagine they have a special section
devoted to nothing but fagelguidens.
