I was able to get to Sims Park in Euclid today (12/8) from 4:10 to 4:40pm with 14mph ssw winds 39 degrees. There were 20 scoters, that looked like to me 3 White-winged Scoters, 3 Black Scoters (females) and 14 Surf Scoters, 1 Horned Grebe and about 25 Common Golden eye. I have to admit that other people go there and see many more White-winged Scoters than I do as 10 were reported to ebird yesterday. I could be off a white-winged or two but can't figure out the difference. Recent pictures included below
Also, I have not been able to find any Snow Buntings at Bluestone Bus Park the last few weeks even though I haven't spent much time there.
