I was at Greenlawn last week and a guy literally walked up to the bottom
of the tree. I told him about the propensity these birds have to abandon
if human activity gets too much and he moved back to the street. 

I don't think many people realize that is the case so as always, it
might take a little education on the part of more experienced birders.
