As Allan Clabon and I were leaving the Caesar Creek beach after having
distant views of the previously reported Franklin's Gull through Leslie
Houser's scope, we spotted a Black-bellied Plover chasing a Killdeer. The
plover clearly showed a big wing stripe, a white tail, and black axillars.
We usually get half a dozen or so through here every year, but generally
somewhat later than this.
